Where there are contiguous segments, the segments have been combined into onedescription. The descriptions are a little conservative in that we extended the start/stop point of each section slightly (tenths of miles) to provide a little buffer should alignments need to betweaked in the field when we go to construction. The descriptions are listed from west (A-1) to east (O-21). I have attached a separate Excelspreadsheet that shows which segments are covered by each description to facilitate your review(please edit the Word file Loren distributed.)Please do not change the format of the descriptions or their general reference points. Forexample, most of the CA, AZ and NM segments are referenced to Border Monuments. We wouldlike to keep it that way for consistency purposes.Only PF225 and VF300 segments approved to date should be covered by the descriptions. Pleasedon't add new segments that have not been approved by the change control board. Please use the track change mode for any suggested modifications so we can quickly and easilysee them.If anyone has any questions about this tasking, please have them contact me at5(O) or cell phone atThanks   From: FLOSSMAN, LOREN W Sent: Friday, March 21, 2008 6:05 PM To:   Cc: GIDDENS, GREGORY; ADAMS, ROWDY D; Subject: SBInet, PF and VF project descriptions request you have each of the Sectors review the descriptions to ensure they describeall the SBInet and fence segments in their Sector. Request each Sector chief to sign off and returnwith concurrence or corrections – The Fence segments described in the attachments are the onlyfence we will be building CY08. Therefore, we need to make sure the descriptions include all the fenceneeded for the segment. For example have we described Project A-1 start and end point for the A-1project. Any question please contact ASAP - We need this the document returned NLT1500 Tuesday 25 March – Thanks loren (b) (6)   (b) (6)(b) (6)(b)(6)(b) (6)(b) (6)(b) (6)(b) (6)(b) (6)(b) (6)  O-4Starting approximately at the intersection of Military Rd and an un-named road (i.e.beginning of the IBWC levee in HidalgoCounty) and runs east in proximity to theIBWC levee for approximately 4.5 miles.O-5Starting approximately at the intersection of Levee Rd and 5494 Wing Road and runseast in proximity to the IBWC levee for approximately 1.8 milesO-6Starting approximately 0.2 mile north fromthe intersection of S Depot Road and 23rd Stand runs south in proximity to the IBWClevee to the Hidalgo POE and then east inproximity to the new proposed IBWC leveeand the existing IBWC levee toapproximately South 15th StreetO-7Starting approximately where Levi Rd andCounty Rd 1552 intesect and runs east inprximity to the IBWC levee for approximately0.90 milesO-8Starting approximately 0.1 mile east of theintersection of County Rd 556 and CountyRoad 1554 and runs east in proximity to theIBWC levee for approximately 3.4 milesO-9Starting approximately 4.0 mile west of theProgresso POE and runs east in proximity tothe IBWC levee for approximately 6.4 milesto the Mercedes Settling BasinsO-10Starting approximately at the Progresso POEand runs east in proximity to the IBWC leveefor approximately 2.4 miles  Project Name(PF225)Location Description A-1Starting approximately 0.5 mile east of Border Monument(BM) 251 and ends approximately at BM 250A-2AStarting approximately 1.1 miles west of BM 245 and runseast for approximately 0.8 milesA-2BStarting approximately 0.2 Mile west of BM 243 and runseast along the border for approximately 0.5 mileA-2CStarting approximately 0.7 miles east of BM 243 runs eastalong the border for approximately 0.5 milesA-2DStarting approximately 1.0 mile east of BM 243 and runseast along the border for approximately 0.9 milesA-2EStarting approximately 0.7 west of BM 242 and stopsapproximately 0.4 miles west BM 242A-2FStarting approximately 0.8 miles east of BM 242 and runseast along the Border for approximately 1.1 milesA-2GStarting approximately 0.4 miles east of BM 239 and runseast for approximately 0.4 mile along the border A-2HStarting approximately 1.2 mile east of BM 239 and runseast for approximately 0.2 miles along the border A-2IStarting approximately 0.5 west of BM 235 and runs eastalong the border for approximately 1.1 milesA-2JStarting approximately 0.8 mile east of BM 235 and runseast along the border for approximately 0.1 mileA-2KStarting approximately 0.6 mile east of BM 234 and runseast for approximately 1.7 miles along the border A-2LStarting approximately 0.4 mile east of BM 233 and runseast for approximately 2.1 miles along the border A-2MStarting approximately 0.05 mile west of BM 232 and runseast for approximately 0.1 mile along the border A-2NStarting approximately 0.2 mile east of BM 232 and runseast for approximately 1.5 miles along the border BV-1Starting 0.6 mile east of Border Monument 229 headingeast along the border for approximately 11.3 miles to BM225B-2Starting approximately 0.1 mile east of BM 224 and runseast along the border for approximately 2.5 milesB-4Starting approximately 2.3 miles east of BM 220 and runseast along the border to BM 207B-5Asee B-4B-5Bsee B-4C-1see B-4CV-1AStarting approximately 1.0 mile south of BM 206 and runssouth along the Colorado River for approximately 13.3milesCV-1Bsee CV-1AC-2BStarting approximately 0.1 mile north of County 18th Streetrunning south along the border for approximately 3.8 miles
